XQuery known as XML Query is a query and functional coding language that queries and converts collections of structured and unstructured data, normally in XML form, text and with vendor-specific extensions for other data formats (JSON, binary, and so on). In addition to that, the language developed by the XML Query working group of the W3C is closely organized with the development of XSLT; the two groups distribute responsibility for XPath, which is a subset of XQuery.
