How to create an array from PHP string?

PHP explode() function is used to create an array from a string in PHP. Explode function breaks a string using a delimiter into an array.

Below is the basic syntax to convert a string to an array in PHP

$string = "This is a string in PHP";
$php_array= explode(" ",$string);
print_r(" ",$php_array);
