What is HCL?

The full form of HCL is Hyper-Converged Infrastructure. The virtualization of all the elements of conventional “Hardware defined systems” is done by software-defined IT infrastructure known as Hyper-Converged Infrastructure. Virtualized computing a hypervisor, a virtualized SAN (software-defined storage) and virtualized networking (software-defined networking) are all included in HCL. The components management is done by the software only. Thus HCL simply binds storage, server, and network in a single hardware.
