What is Bus Bar Protection?

Bus Bar protection as the name suggests is used to protect the busbar from any default. In case of fault occur on the bus bar, all the supply is disturbed and the feeders are disconnected. There are many reasons for the fault, like the failure of circuit breakers, failure of support insulators and foreign object accidentally falling across the bus bar.
