What is RODC ?

Rodc stands for a read-only domain controller which is actually a domain controller having read-only partitions for active directory domain services database. It also responds to the requests generated for security authentication. It can also hold the objects present in DC for further authentication. It also conducts uni-directional replication and credential caching for its smooth functioning.
